Help Us Win A New All-Abilities Playground!

Baker City is THRILLED being one of three Oregon cities selected to compete for a new all-access playground with an ASSIST from the Portland Trail Blazers and Moda Health! The most important assist the Trail Blazers make during the season is for kids in Oregon communities. They have teamed up with Moda to create the Moda Assist Program supporting healthy, active living for kids. For every assist made on the court during the regular season, the Trail Blazers and Moda donate $20 to support building an all abilities playground in the greater Oregon community.

The community that will receive this year’s Moda Assist funds is determined by a friendly, four-week online voting contest, which takes place Feb. 20 to March 20. The contest rules are simple: the city with the most votes at the end of the voting period, wins. Voting is limited to one vote per person per day. Baker City has an outstanding history of supporting our kids and the things that are most beneficial for them….Let’s all pitch in and VOTE for this great cause! Go to daily to vote…and…Stay tuned to the Baker City Facebook page, and right here for more information!
