Public Notice 6/26/2020
Baker City Municipal Airport hereby announces its proposed Disadvantaged Business Enterprise (DBE) participation goal of 8.2% for FAA-funded contracts/agreements. The proposed goal pertains to federal fiscal years 2021 through 2023 (10/1/2020 - 9/30/2023). A teleconference was held on Wednesday, June 24, 2020 at 11 AM PST for the purpose of consulting with stakeholders to obtain information relevant to the goal-setting process.
Comments on the DBE goal will be accepted for 30 days from the date of this publication and can be sent to the following:

Overview
The Airport Commission was created to advise the City Manager regarding the management, care, and control of the Municipal Airport (Heilner Field). Here are some of the Commission main duties:
- To recommend rules and regulations, not inconsistent with the laws of the State of Oregon and the United States of America
- To suggest rules and regulations of the Federal Aeronautics authority
- To propose needed beautifications and development of the Municipal Airport
- To make recommendations concerning expenditures for the benefit of the Airport from such funds as to be appropriated by the City Council
- To assist the City Manager in making an appearance before the Budget Board
The Commission consists of 7 members, 4-year term.
